Embed Code
An embed code is a snippet of code that an outside service or vendor provides you to use content, data, or functionality in your own site quickly and easily, without the need for a developer. It's typically found under "Share" or "Embed" menus when viewing media on a website. If you've ever embedded a YouTube video, Twitter feed, Instagram, or Facebook post in your site, you've already used an embed code!

Embed codes can't be styled, changed, or modified. What you see is what you get. If you don't like the way an embed code looks or works, the next step is to find out if your vendor or service has a reliable API.
