Shortcode

A shortcode is a way of quickly embedding a small piece of functionality into the content area of a website. WordPress comes with a number of built-in shortcodes, and we have a number of university-maintained shortcodes as well to help make common tasks in content development easier. Shortcodes typically use brackets and have a name. One example of a commonly used shortcode here is collapsibles.
