As the connecting force of Boston University, it&#8217;s now possible for the Center for Computing &amp; Data Science to provide such a listing with the CDS theme.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Collaborator Tool<\/strong> is a combination of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an option to designate any Profile as a Collaborator,\u00a0and\u2026<\/li>\n<li>a preset for a BU Filtering page template, listing only the aforementioned Collaborator-designated Profiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both of these are initiated, set up and managed by the WordPress administrator of the CDS theme.<\/p>\n<h2>Add a Collaborator Affiliation<\/h2>\n<p>For a profile post to be designated a Collaborator, the option, or Taxonomy term, needs to be created.<br \/>\nThese steps are only necessary if a &#8220;Collaborator&#8221; Affiliation term hasn&#8217;t already been created.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h5>1. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cds-faculty\/wp-admin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Start by going to your WordPress Admin Dashboard for the CDS theme.<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h5>2. Within the &#8220;Profiles&#8221; sidebar tab to the left: Click on &#8220;Roles, Faculty &amp; Appointments&#8221;. With this set, any Profile post can now be designated as a Collaborator.<\/h5>\n<h5>This process is also helpful for adding more designations for Profile posts (i.e. &#8220;Student&#8221; term).<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2>Toggling a Profile as a Collaborator<\/h2>\n<p>With the preceding Affiliation option included, any individual profile now can be designated as an available <code>collaborator<\/code>:<a href=\"https:\/\/app.tango.us\/app\/workflow\/60f14bbe-9d29-43f6-a655-8f8ab0a82778?utm_source=magicCopy&amp;utm_medium=magicCopy&amp;utm_campaign=workflow%20export%20links\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<h5>1. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cds-faculty\/wp-admin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Log in to the CDS theme to access the WordPress Admin Dashboard.<\/a><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h5>2. Within the sidebar to the left side: Click either the &#8220;Profiles&#8221; link, or Click on the &#8220;Profiles&#8221; link within its submenu.
