Navigation

Navigation is the term used to describe text on a page that, when selected, redirects you to a corresponding page elsewhere on the website. Navigation may sometimes be referred to as the menu, links, and hyperlinks. There are several types of navigation you might work with when redesigning your website. These include main navigation and secondary navigation, which are typically defined in an information architecture. There are also callouts, calls to action, and links, which we plan for during user flows, wireframes, and content development. It’s important to remember that there are multiple types and methods of navigation on a website, and often, there can be many starting points besides the homepage.
