Please note that it is recommended to give yourself 2\/3 days to fix any broken links.<\/li>\n<li>Double-check your content is <a href=\"https:\/\/wpdocs.bu.edu\/research-sister\/best-practices-for-content\/maintaining-your-site-content\/\" target=\"_blank\">accessible and up to date<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure banner titles are not longer than 21 characters, if not, it will break incorrectly in mobile.<\/li>\n<li>Check to make sure your <a href=\"https:\/\/wpdocs.bu.edu\/research-sister\/style-your-site\/shortcodes\/\" target=\"_blank\">shortcodes<\/a> are properly embedded.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure photos are sized properly for chosen <a href=\"https:\/\/wpdocs.bu.edu\/research-sister\/style-your-site\/photo-templates-and-guidelines\/\" target=\"_blank\">banner location<\/a> and that the photos are not being stretched or become pixelated.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your images have <code>alt-text<\/code> for <a href=\"https:\/\/wpdocs.bu.edu\/research-sister\/best-practices-for-content\/accessibility\/\" target=\"_blank\">accessibility<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure your Parent Pages and Child Pages are in their correct locations.<\/li>\n<li>Check all tables for responsiveness. <a href=\"https:\/\/wpdocs.bu.edu\/research-sister\/style-your-site\/tables-lists\/\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> to see how to make responsive tables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before launching your site, go through this list to ensure that your new site is ready to be live.
