Using the Customizer
You can change many site options in the WordPress customizer. The customizer is available in Appearance > Customizer, and allows you to update the following:
- Your site title
- Your site’s branding, including:
- Whether the site has a parent BU entity, like Research
- An optional subparent, such as a department within Research
- An unbranded option for projects that do not fit within BU brand guidelines
- Two navigation layouts
- Your site footer information, including the address and footer links
- Options for how the news page displays
- An alternate footbar, for when you need different footer content on just the homepage
- A preview of widgets on a page and how they will display
